New design for mobile.de
More modern, user-friendly and mobile-oriented. With the new design of the exchange, the mobile.de team wants to further increase demand on its site.
"The new design and the increased user-friendliness will further increase the already strong increase in demand on mobile.de in 2015," said Malte Krüger, Managing Director of mobile.de, commenting positively on the innovations. Comparing the generated leads with those of the previous year, Germany's largest automobile exchange recorded a growth of 15 percent.
UNERRINGLY TO RELEVANT SEARCH RESULTS
User-friendly are above all the easier navigation and the adapted layout. The modified search field and redesigned content should enable users to find the information they are looking for more quickly and efficiently. To support potential buyers in their choice, mobile.de is offering the "Motor-Talk" cooperation project "Motor-Agent" (see graphic above). This online purchasing advice service asks users specific questions about their car wishes and suggests appropriate models.
The newly designed search results page is also to be introduced shortly. In doing so, mobile.de is focusing on larger images and a clearer division of vehicle information. The adjustments will be followed by the introduction of the renewed detailed results page at the beginning of next year. According to mobile.de, the changes made have been intensively tested by users and consistently adapted to their needs.
SMARTPHONES AND TABLETS ON THE ADVANCE
User numbers in the mobile sector continue to rise. mobile.de is also reacting to this with the latest changes. "We have also invested heavily in user-friendliness, range and conversion on mobile devices," says Malte Krüger. According to its own information, mobile.de records a total of 63 percent of all traffic via smartphones and tablets. The update will enable all products to be offered across platforms with the same design language and functionality. Logged-in users will be able to access saved searches and the car park independently of the device. mobile.de states that initial tests have already shown that these measures can significantly increase the conversion of customer enquiries.
